My weekend alone

I thought that I would write and let everyone know about the my weekend. See Travis had a reserve weekend this weekend, so I got to stay at the apartment and hang out with Tucker. We had lots of fun. Friday morning I had to work and then that night I my aunt through me a bridal shower. It was so much fun and I got lots of new fun things for the apartment. Then Saturday I spent putting it all away, fixing all Tuckers toys (he likes to tear holes in them!), and cleaning. Most people say that I shouldn't be cleaning, but I did and I had fun. The apartment looks good now and Tucker has worn himself out with "new" toys so I am going to relax and maybe watch a girly movie. Tomorrow Travis comes back home and I can't wait to see him, as much as I did miss him it was nice to have a weekend to myself. I have taken this weekend as a trial run for this summer when Travis is deployed. p.s I am still trying to post pictures. (It isn't going so well)

3 1/2 weeks and counting!

Hey sorry that I haven't posted anything new in awhile. It has been crazy around here lately. But I thought that I would let everyone know that a week or so ago we got the word that Travis will be home for the wedding!!!!! That is the great news. But the bad news is that he will be leaving the next day. Yep... that's right we get married on March 1st and he leaves on the 2nd. It is a bummer that he won't be here for very long, but at least we will be married. I guess that is just the way this military wife thing goes. Plans for the wedding are moving right along. We ordered the cake and picked up my wedding dress this weekend so now all we need is a liscence and we can get hitched. Well un 3 and 1/2 weeks a.k.a 26 days. ( Yes, Brandi I have started the count down!)

For all those wondering Brandi and Kyle got to California finally. They arrived on Saturday and immediatly started looking for a place to live. No luck so far, but I hear today could be the day. Zach and Allie apparently made the trip wonderfully and there were no major problems. As soon as she finds a house and gets the internet hooked up she'll be posting with lots of pictures that she took along the way I am sure.
