It is DEAD!

Well the Dickson's are now down to ONE car. Since Travis wrecked the Jeep he had been driving his old Acura that was about to die. But he had fixed it enough that it would get him from home to work. It wasn't great but it worked at that is all that mattered. Well, yesterday he came home from his reserve weekend and his car died before he could finish parking, luckily he coasted it into a spot. Well when he stopped he tried to start it again and there was no such luck. He was not happy, but we went and hung out with our friends Mary Beth and Kyle. We got to take the dogs and let them run in their backyard which they loved it. It was a great way to relax after a rough day for the both of us. When we got home and of course Travis tried it again and no such luck. So we have decided to retire it for good. So until Travis leaves we will be driving my car. It sucks, but things could be worse I guess.

Fun Friday

Today has turned out to be a good day. I wasn't sure that it would. See me and Travis both went to work this morning. And although I got off on time Travis didn't. He was suppose to get off at 2, but some one didn't show up so he had to stay till 4:30. When he finally got to leave he had to pull over because his lovely car started to over heat! Yes, the only car he has left is really giving in. So he finally gets home at 5:15 and then my grandparents show up. While he was doing all of this I was cooking dinner. Frozen dinner I might add. Apparently in my rush to get out the door this morning I forgot to lay out the stuff for dinner. I do mean EVERYTHING, the chicken and everything for dessert. So I had to start early so that I could get it done in time. Well, dinner turned out good, they all seemed to enjoy it. My grandparents seemed to have fun. After dinner we played a couple of games of Aggravation. Which all of my family knows and loves (well some). But it was really fun. We had fun talking and hanging out. And Brandi I showed grandmother pictures of Zach and she loved them. All in all it turned out to be a very good day! I hope that everyone else's was as good, and your weekend just as good!

I have become my mother

Ok, not that it is a bad thing, but I am becoming my mother. Ever since I was a kid I always teased mom about constantly cleaning especially when some one was coming over. She always said that I would do the same thing when I had a place of my own. I never believed her until now. Yes, I am spending all day cleaning. I don't have to go to school today, and since my Grandparents are coming over tomorrow for dinner I have had the sudden urge to clean my house even the bedroom which no one is going to see!! I now understand why my mom made us clean so much. So I have to say I am sorry mom for making fun of you, because I am now becoming just like you!!! I love you.

Kyle spent the night on Friday night and Dewy fell asleep in his lap. She has got one HUGE tongue!! That is only the tip.
