6 months!

Not much to say, but 6 months down!!!!! Yes, Travis has been gone for 6 months. And we only have a little over a month to go until he comes home!!!! (hopefully). Just thought you all would like to know!

As all of you know Brandi, Kyle, and Zach have been in Knoxville for the last 10 days. But today we had to take them to the airport and send them off to Japan.

We had alot of fun the last 10 days, and I can't believe how fast it all went. I was defiantly not ready to say goodbye. But the Marine Corps didn't really ask us what we wanted!! I am going to miss them soooo much. 3 years is a really long time.

I love you guys!!!!

Dewy's 1st Snow

Today was the first snow that Knoxville has seen in a long time! We got Dewy a little less than a year ago, and it hasn't snowed since then. So today was Dewy's first snow. This morning when we got up I took her outside so that she could use the bathroom. And I was shocked to see that it was snowing. I got my camera so I could document Dewy's 1st snow. Because I am such a loser like that! As you can see she really could have cared less that it was snowing. But I thought it was fun which is all that matters!

A boring start

Sorry, I haven't been posting much. There just doesn't seem much to post about. Since the beginning of 2009 there has been anything that has happened that has been blog worthy. Which is sort of a blessing in disguise. Because that also means that there isn't anything bad that has happened. Which is just how I like it. After last years one bad thing after another I sort of like the peace and quiet.

The one thing that has happened is that Brandi, Kyle, and Zach have come into town. They are here visiting before they have to move to Japan. That I am not excited about. California was to far away, but seems like just a state away compared to Japan. Unfortunately I have had to work alot so I haven't had a lot of time to spend with them, but I am trying.

Today was spent with them shopping, which is one of mine and Brandi's favorite pass-times! And of course I got to play with Zach which is always fun. He is always there to give you a good laugh.

Hopefully, I will take some pictures for all to see!

Out with the old and in with the new

Well, it is here. 2008 has gone and 2009 is here. Man time flys. This time last year I was planning and wedding.

I have to admit that I didn't celebrate the New Year in style, actually I didn't celebrate it at all! I had to work till sort of late last night and by the time I got home I was exhausted so I came home and went to bed. I slept right through the coming of the New Year.

I did eat all my black eyed peas for good luck so hopefully I will have better luck this year. Keep your fingers crossed! Well, stay tuned I do know that this year is going to provide for some good posts.
