It is so hard to believe, it has been 2 years. But it has, Travis graduated boot camp 2 years ago. Time flies when you are having fun and staying busy!!! I wish I had pictures that I could show you all, but of course they aren't on this computer. Things were so much different. Back then, we were 18 years old and I had just started college. Now we are married, and talking active duty. Wow, do the times change. I am so proud of Travis and the things that he has done and accomplished so far in the Marine Corps. He was definitely meant to be a Marine!!!! Can't wait to see what the next few years brings!

Just some pictures
We finally got our camera charged so we have been all about takeing pictures the last few days. So here are some of our favorites.
Since it has been so nice outside. We have been trying really hard to get out and take Dewy to the lake. She loves to swim, but even more she likes the car ride there. I rolled down the window and she came and sat down in my lap and hung her head out the entire time!
Her just hanging out by the sliding glass door, and watch the bugs. This picture was taken after she had attacked several, she was tired!

Football Time In Tennessee!!!!!!!!!!

Oh what a weekend!
I know I know it is Wednesday, the weekend has long past, and it is time to look towards the new weekend, but I just realized that I might have something to post!!! YIPEE! This past weekend was a really great weekend. It started out with us just hanging out Saturday morning. We didn't have to wait to long after we got up for the Tennesse game to come on to TV! The first game of the season, who wouldn't be excited? This is the first year that Travis has really gotten into it as much as I do, so that made it all the more exciting. We got all dressed up in our orange, and watched and cheered the Vols to a good 63-7 victory!! We were so excited. After the game was over, we got ready for our double date night with our friends Whitney and Brian. We met them at Olive Garden for dinner, and had a blast laughing with them. We decided to make it an even better evening by going to a movie. We saw Inglorious Bastards. And let me tell you. There is not a Marine in this world who won't like that movie. Go figure. But over all it is a pretty good movie. It was such a fun night.
Sunday morning was another good church morning, followed by another good dinner with friends. But these were other friends. The Kennamers! Kate and Clint and there son Dillon. We ended up playing a good game of Marine Corps monopoly. It was so much fun.
Monday, I ,unfortunatly, had to work. But Travis didn't so him and Dewy got to sleep in and play while I worked. But work was good! My mom stopped by and told me she was putting something in my car. I was so excited because mom always buys good things. I couldn't wait to see what it was. But I was so excited (and I have a feeling mom was to) that mom told me what it was. She bought me a dress for the Marine Corps Birthday Ball!!! I am so very excited. I had tried it on the other day and I loved it, but I thought it was to expensive. But apparently it was on sale the other day, when mom was there. So she was the best mommy in the world and bought it for me!!! WOOOO-WHOOOO, now I am going to be the best dress girl at the ball. I am so excited (if you couldn't tell). It is a beautiful dress. And I can't wait to show everyone pictures of it. And then that night we went to their house for Labor Day dinner. Well ok, it was our weekly Monday night dinner, but still it was lots of fun and really yummy.
As you can tell it was a really good weekend. The week has been a little rough, so hopefully we will have another good weekend! We will see............

As September rolls in....
....all the excitement begins. At least that is how I choose to view it! There just seems to be so many exciting things that are going to be happening these next few months. It excites me more than most people know. So here is the low-down on what is going to be happening! September: my nephew turns 2, my sister turns 24. And the weather here in Knoxville is going to start turning cooler! Fall will begin it's decent over Knoxville, and I will get to change out my summer cloths to my winter cloths. Well then we get to October: My mom turns another year older (aren't you happy I didn't say how old mom!) Travis turns 21. That is right the BIG 2-1. He will be officially legal in every aspect of adulthood. And then at the end of the month is Halloween! I plan to go all out. But then after all that comes maybe the best 2 months of the year! That is right, November and December!!!! Thanksgiving and Christmas! My 2 most favorite holidays of the year. November also has the famous after Thanksgiving Day shopping. Oh my favorite day to shop EVER! Getting up early to do nothing but shopping all day is more fun than most think, until your experience. But what could possibly be even more exciting this year, is that this will be my very first Marine Corps birthday ball! I have never been able to attend one, and this year Travis will be home so we can get all dressed up and have a blast. And then of course December is Christmas, and New Year's Eve/ New Years. And hopefully a special few visitors will come and make November or December a better month! No pressure Brandi!
But you want to know what the best part of all this is. Travis will actually be here to do it all with me. This will be our first Holiday season married that we will actually spend together! This is so very exciting to me.
I am so excited about what the next few months holds for us, it promises to be rewarding. So stay tuned, hopefully this will give me alot more to blog about!
