Not much to say

I, as usual, don't have anything exciting to share. But I just thought that I would update you on our daily things that have happened the last week or so. So let's see where should I start?

Well, Travis has 2 interviews in the last week. The first one was a few days ago, and they said they would call him but they still haven't. Go figure, just our luck. And the second on was today, so we are waiting to hear from them. But they said it could be up to 2 more weeks before we hear from them. So in the mean time he is continuing to search for a job. So please continue to pray for us. We really really need it.

We spent part of this last Sunday celebrating Father's Day with my wonderful dad. Since mom isn't home, and he had to go out and work, we just had pizza and cheesecake! It was really good, and he seemed happy. It was a good day.

This weekend we are moving into our new apartment. We are excited, but nervous about exactly how we are going to get it all done in a short amount of time. See at first we were excited that they were giving us all day to move! Yeah, we get the new keys on Saturday morning and don't have to turn in our old keys until 5 on Monday afternoon. But after doing a little research and thinking we realized we don't have as much time as we thought we did! See turns out that the office doesn't open until 10 AM on Saturday, and we have a wedding that we have to go to at 2 pm that same day! So there goes most of our Saturday. And then there is Church on Sunday morning, and I work Monday morning! And we are going to have to move all our stuff and I will have to clean and clean the carpets all in time to get the keys back to the office in time! Needless to say that we have a lot to do and a little time to do it in!

In the next few weeks, we will be just as busy as we seem to have been recently. And we may be making some changes but you never know with the ways have been going since the day Travis came home from Iraq. It seems like we are so crazy in the way we make decisions. We seem to be jumping all over the place with the things we have decided to do. But I know that in some weird way, that we don't understand, we are being guided by GOD. I do wish that we could get a small glimpse of exactly he has in store for us, but I am trying really hard to just be patient and let it all come out in its own time. And this is a concept that is REALLY hard for me.

Please pray for all of us as we are having a rough time with everything that is going on. And we need God's guidance and wisdom more than ever right now.

Life...

is so crazy right now! I know that I told you that I had pictures to post. But to be honest with you. I can't find the camera! In our attempts to pack the things that we don't need until we move, I seem to have missed placed the camera. I know that I will find it while I am unpacking boxes next weekend, so you are going to have to wait until then.

I know posts have been really slow these last few weeks. But if you could see my apartment you would know why! The boxes have over taken a very large portion of our very small apartment!
Travis is so tired of walking around boxes. But we only have a week left. I am so excited about finally getting to move, so we can have some more space. But I have been reminiscing (maybe to much) about this apartment.

This apartment has seen us through alot in the year or so that we have lived in it. Really I guess it has seen me through more than Travis but still. Although this is not our first apartment, it was were a lot of first happened! We managed to make it through our first deployment with flying colors! This is were I spent our first Thanksgiving and Christmas as a married couple. Were I turned 19. Our first anniversary (a big one!) Alot of fun things happened here as well, the main thing is the painting that me and Brandi got to do. The first and only apartment that I painted. And it was made all the more fun with the help of Brandi!

I know I am being maybe a little to sentimental about this apartment, especially since we are choosing to move, but it is still sort of sad to see it all change. Especially when every thing else in our lives seems to be changing on a daily bases. But I know that this new apartment will hold a new first and fun things.

I will try to update more often, but I make no promise with us moving and such. But you will be among the first to know when we do have something to update you on.

It's my birthday!

It's true I'm officially 20 years old. No longer a teenager! It was a pretty good birthday. It all started out with Travis and I being waking up by Dewy heaving and throwing up on the bed, and my hands! I was trying to get her to move so that she wouldn't get the bed, but instead she got my hands AND the bed! I guess you could say that after that I quickly got in the shower to clean up for church. Church was good, but we had to hurry out after it ended so that we could run home and take Dewy to a friends for the day. We dropped her off and then went straight to mom and dads. Mom made a great lunch and an AMAZING cake for my birthday. After eating and talking we just hung around for a while until it was time to take mom to the airport. She is flying to Japan! By the time we got back it was almost 5 o'clock, which meant that it was time to go and get Dewy. And ever since then we have been sitting around the house just hanging out. Travis is at the gym with Dad and Kyle, and I just finished my favorite show, Army Wives. The season premier was today on my Birthday, it was cool.

But the best thing of this Birthday was the fact that Travis was actually here for it. We have been together since early high school and we have never spent my actual birthday together, but this one we did.

See as you can tell it has been a busy day. And now I am another year older and nothing to show for it! We will just have to wait and see what this next year holds right! Stay tuned I think I have some pictures to post.

News

So after some consideration and thought we have decided on what we want to do about our apartment! We are not staying in our small one that we have now, we are upgrading to a bigger one! It is 100 sq. feet bigger than what we are currently in now. We are so excited about having some place bigger. And although Dewy doesn't really know that we are moving, I think she will be excited to. We are not positive as to when we will be moving, but it should be fairly soon.

Since we decided to move we have begun packing! This time around I am way ahead of the game, a large portion of our house is already packed. Which is also the problem! There are boxes every where!!!!! The first night that we started packing most of the things, Dewy just laid on the floor and stared up at us, like what in the world is going on! There are so many boxes, that it has become a maze in our tiny apartment. Dewy does zig-zags, in and out of them when we play fetch with her. In a way I think she thinks it is fun, but I am sick of it already. Travis got up in the middle of the night last night, and ran in to a bunch of boxes. He wasn't happy, and made it known with his large grumble all the way back to bed!

Travis has also gotten a new job. He use to work for ADT, but just after a couple of weeks, he hated, and quickly found something out. He now works at Vector. It is a part of CUTCO, they sell knives. He really seems to like it. But he needs more appointments to come and show people these knives. You don't have to buy anything, but if you don't mind sitting through his thing, he would really appreciate it if you would let him come and show you! Just let me know, like I said you don't have to buy anything, he gets paid to show you! Ok that was my advertising for the day!

I am also going to Japan! Since we not spending our savings on a house, Travis told me I could spend a small bit and buy a plane ticket to see Brandi in Japan! I don't leave until the end of July, but I am also super excited.

Well, I think that is all the news that I have as of right now. I hope you enjoyed the update!
