July 4th!
Wow what a day! This 4th of July has proven it's self to be yet another good day. I started my day off by attending the annual Town of Farragut Independence day parade. It was so much fun to get to spend some time with some of my family and enjoying all the people walking in the parade. There were so many support our troops signs that it was a little overwhelming. It made me feel all good inside but a little choked up inside. Then I came back to the apartment and worked on a wedding picture album, and the best part I got to take a nap. It was wonderful even the dogs laid down with me. Around 5:00 I left to go into my parents house were we started our 23rd annual Bumbalough party. Can you believe it my parents have been in the same house and having a celebration in it for almost 23 years. It was so much fun. My friend Mary Beth and her husband and son came along with my parents neighbors who have been coming since the beginning. My dad grilled his wonderful burgers and made the best home made ice cream ever! (except the chocolate..which was apparently my fault oops!) Then the fireworks. It was an awesome show. Thanks guys for a great show! The only sad part was that Travis couldn't be here to celebrate with us. But we thought of you often, babe! And we miss you so much. Thanks to all the men and women who are or who have served this AMAZING country! You all are hero's.
