Here we are 29 weeks!! 7 months and 1 week, I can't believe I will be getting to meet my sweet baby boy. I am doing well. Went to the doctor the other day and we are growing right on schedule. Still haven't gained weight, but he is still perfect! Here are some pictures! Enjoy....

27 weeks
Well here we are!! 27 weeks. Only 13 to go. I think it is so hard to believe that its so short a time till I get to meet my baby boy! The weeks have been filled with not much! Actually that is not true, I have been keeping myself busy. And my friends and family have been helping alot! Between girls night with the girls from church, dinner with different family members, to the daily stuff around the house time has gone pretty fast.
I had a doctors appointment about 2 weeks ago and it went really well. It was the appointment where I had to drink the super sweet flat orange soda and wait an hour so they could check my blood sugar. Good news I passed!! I had lost a small amount of weight again, but Mason is growing perfectly and had a really strong heartbeat!! Which is all that matters. And honestly, as long as he is right were he should be, I perfectly ok with not gaining much weight. The less I gain the less I have to loose! And considering I want to try and loose all my weight by the time Travis comes home (all you moms out there, keep all comments to yourself) it would be nice to have a head start!
Every week since Travis has been gone, I take a picture of my ever expanding belly and send it to Travis so he can see how much I have grown! Well, this is my 27 week picture. Yes, I am aware that I am wearing the same cloths as I was in my last belly picture, I did it on purpose. This way Travis can really compare pictures! Some days I feel huge, and some days I feel like I am smaller than most people at this point. What do you think?
As for Travis, I haven't gotten to talk to him much lately, but the last time I did he was doing pretty well. He sounded a bit better than he did when he first got there. He did sprain his ankle again, but said it wasn't bad. We miss him like crazy, but I have already begun the count down! It is not a real one, really, because I don't know when he is coming home for sure, but you all know me, I love to countdown! I am even counting down till Mason's due date!

Catch up
I have posted tons of pictures for you to see. They are almost all from when Travis was home! So I hope you enjoy.
As for Mason, I am 24 weeks pregnant. Which means 6 MONTHS!! Can you believe it? It seems so far along, but yet so far to go! Right now, I am really enjoying being pregnant. Even in the being when I was so sick, I really enjoy this pregnant thing. Especially now when I am feeling him move all the time. While Travis was home he got to feel Mason kick on several occasions. It is so rewarding getting to share that with Travis. And with in the last few days, I have finally noticed my stomach moving! I thought I had seen it out of the corner of my eye, but was never sure. Until one day this past weekend, Travis and I were laying in bed watching tv, when I started feeling Mason move, and looked down at my tummy just in time to see it bulge when he kicked! I know that if you are already a mom you know just how amazing this is. But I just can't describe how wonderful it is!
I love my son so much already, and I love feeling him move! I just can't wait to meet him!
Enjoy the pictures!

July
I have to say I am really shocked that it is July already. June went by so fast. That I don't know where to even begin. As of right now I am 22 (almost 23) weeks pregnant! This pregnancy has flown by really quick so far, which means in the blink of an eye I will be getting to meet my little man! And hopefully this deployment will be over.
Speaking of which Travis actually home right now for his block leave before he ships out to Afghanistan. We are trying to enjoy this week as much as possible since it will be awhile before we get to see each other again.
I had to drive to Camp Lejeune this past Wednesday and pick him up and turn around and drive home the same day. It definatly made for a really long day. It was almost 16 hours round trip!! I took Dewy with me, and even she was so ready to be out of the car. Which is a big deal because she LOVES car rides!!! When he got home that night, he went into Mason's room and was really shocked at what he saw! I had done so much, with Mom's help of course! And he hadn't seen any of it. So he was really shocked! I was so happy that he loved it. Cause I absolutly love the way it turned out. Now all I need is clothes for him and we can have a baby!!!!!
I can't wait till he gets here. I dreamed about him for the first time ever, where I could actually see what he looked like. And I know I am biased, but he was the cutest kid EVER!!! I mean absolutly adorable, and I think everyone would agree. I can't wait to meet him and see what he looks like. And I can't wait for Travis to meet him! It just excites me so much!!!!!
Well, we are going to be busy busy this week so it might be awhile before you hear from me, but stay tuned for pictures!!

Almost there!
Well, with Mason's room that is. My wonderful mom has finished is bedding, made a changing pad cover, and cushions for the rocking chair! And it all looks great. I painted letters to hang his name on the wall and painted a shelf to go near the changing table so that I can keep things close by! So today I spent part of the day hanging letters and the shelf.
But the problem with this is that everytime I go in his room and do something, I feel the need to move things around. See right now there is alot of extra stuff. The car seat and stroller, a bouncy seat, and the bassinet are all just sitting in there. And it's in the way!! I want to put the car seat and stroller in the car so that they can get out of there, but then I thought it might be a little early for that! Especially since I have a trip (or 2) to Camp Lejeune coming up. The bassinet needs to go in my room, but once again I can't do that until Travis comes home and leaves again, because it is going to go on his side of the bed, and I don't think he wants to walk around it all the time while he is home!! So much stuff and no where to put it!! And yes I am aware that it is only going to get worse once Mason actually gets here! Until then I can fret!
I found the camera the other day, and I am going to take some pictures of his room soon, but I think there are a few more touches I want to put in the room first! Stay tuned............

Half way!!
Can you believe it? I know that I have a hard time believing that in the same amount of time I have been pregnant I could be meeting my little boy! Time seems to have flown by so far, and I have to admit that I wanted it to keep passing really quickly! 1 so I can meet Mason, I can't wait to get to hold him and just have him in our lives. To share him with the world! And 2 because they quicker we get him here, means the quicker Travis will be home and we will be a real family!
In the last few weeks I have begun to feel him move and kick. At first it was every now and then, but now I feel him everyday usually several times a day! It is still mostly when I lay down to watch tv or get on the computer (he doesn't seem to like the laptop to be on my tummy) that I feel him the most, but over the last few days I have begun to feel him a couple of times through out the day when I am up and doing something. It was the weirdest thing the other day, I was at Target with my mom, and I kind of had to pee but it wasn't bad. Until, I swear to you, he was bouncing on my bladder! I don't even know how to explain the sensation, but I am so sure thats what it was!
Everyone keeps asking for belly pictures, and I am sorry, I can't find the camera. I would love to show you my belly bump (as long as you don't mind it being covered there won't be any naked belly pics) because I am proud of it I will admit. But I just don't have a camera to take pictures with. And yes I know I need to find it, and I will. Before Travis gets home I am sure we will take lots of pictures when he is home!
Other than this, what I feel is a HUGE step in the pregnancy, there isn't a lot going on. I keep doing some small stuff for Mason's room, but until Travis gets home there isn't alot going on!
Well I am off to go search for the camera, maybe!

Go vote for a Hero
In the title of this post there will be a link that you must go to. Just click on it. If you remember almost a year ago a friend of ours, Daniel Greer, was killed in Afghanistan. Well another Marine that was deployed with him has entered a contest to design a race car. When he desgined it is in honor of Daniel and now we have to vote on it. If it whens Kasey Khane is going to drive it in a NASCAR race in August. All painted up and in tribute for Daniel!
Daniel gave his life and only seems fair that we honor him with this. As of right now he is in 2nd place. Which is amazing considering just yesterday he was in 14th! But we still have a lot of votes to go inorder to get in 1st and stay there! So please please take 2 secs and go vote for him. So when you click on the title of the post there is a small little magnifing glass, click on it and type in "GREER" it should bring up his car! You can vote once a day so keep going back to vote!

Were to start
Wow, it's been awhile! I can't believe I haven't been blogging as much as I thought I would. But I am back. The problem is, I don't have much new and interesting things to tell you about. I had another doctor appointment yesterday, which also happened to be my birthday! And we got a great report. My placenta has moved up to exactly where it is suppose to be. So I no longer have a partial previa or a low lying placenta! So no more concerns! Over the last 2 appointments they have also done the anatomy ultrasound. Which is where they do a very indepth look at his anatomy, such as his heart, brain, bladder, and tons of other things. And he is perfect! Mason is growing perfectly and measures exactly where he should be. So needless to say this was a prefect birthday present!
Although Travis wasn't here for my birthday, he did send some beautiful roses and amazing chocolate covered strawberries. Trust me they were delicous!! And there are no more left! But since he was gone, my wonderful family made up for it. They made a good dinner, followed by cake and ice cream. And some great presents. Clothes!! Not just any, maternity clothes! And they actually fit! I have a ton of maternity clothes, but none of the bottoms fit really well. So my mom and I went and tried on some shorts and I realized what it was like to have maternity clothes that actually fit me! And its wonderful.
Well, thats really been it for the last week or 2. I am now 19 weeks pregnant, which means almost half way there! Kind of hard to believe. Travis comes home for his block leave at the end of the month (should everything go the way we are told it will) so the next few weeks are going to be filled with getting ready for that! Of course I am so excited, and want to get Masons room done so Travis can see it before he leaves! And thanks to mom we are almost done! And I would love to show pictures, but the problem is I can't find the camera. Go figure right! I will find it (hopefully). So stay tuned!

Wrapping up May
May is almost over. Kind of hard to believe that there is a week left. Surprisingly it has gone pretty fast. Since Travis has been gone for most of it, I have found lots of things to keep me busy. The last week has been filled with baby nursery stuff! I love planning his room. I just can't get it done fast enough. Mom and I went Saturday to pick out the material for all his crib stuff. And I have to say I LOVE IT! I always wanted to do a monkey theme and we found the cutest fabric that has the colors I was thinking. It is perfect and I can't wait to show Travis.
I went to the doctor today. And I got to see Mason again. I have been blessed enough to see him everytime I go to the doctor. It started out as routine check up, then we did the down syndrome screening, and then I had to be checked for some minor problems that I had had. And now I go every 2 weeks and get to see him! Last time I went to the doctor they found that I had a low lying placenta, and had me come back today to check again. When I went today they checked my placenta again, and found that it is lower than they thought, so I actually have a partial previa. This isn't necessarly a horrible thing right now. If it doesn't get better I will have to have a c-section to deliver Mason. But my doctor is very optimistic that it will resolve itself very soon! Which was comforting knowing that she wasn't worried!
Mason is completly unaffected by all of this. He is growing prefectly. Weighing in at 6 oz and his heart rate was 157bpm. And finally decided he wanted to be moving around when they tried to get a peak at him. So much so that immediatly she said Yep he is a boy!! Although I have finally stopped losing weight, I haven't gained any. Which they doctor said that as long as Mason was growing right she didn't care.
I go back in 2 weeks. Which is my birthday! And other than my appointment I have no idea what I am going to do. Travis still won't be here, so I might just have to treat myself to something nice! We will just have to see!

It's a.......
wonderful little BOY!! Mason Travis finally corperated and allowed me a very good look! It never gets old seeing your little one moving around on the ultrasound. But the excitement of finding out the gender is so exciting. I wasn't sure how I would react, because I didn't really have an opinion one way or another and I didn't really care. I just wanted to know! But when she said that is definatly a boy I was so excited. I couldn't wait to tell Travis. So I started calling/texting him as soon as she said it! He is more excited than I think I have ever seen him which makes this even more wonderful. I can't wait to meet my little boy!
This isn't one of the best pictures that we got, but I love him with his mouth open. Some one said that he looks like he is snoring, which would be just like his daddy!
This is also my 16 week post, because thats when I found out. As you can tell everything is going very well! I go back to the regular doctor next week to do another regular ultrasound to check the placenta and normal check up stuff! So stay tuned!

Travis leaving for Cali
Wednesday, May 4, 2011
What a day,
It was a big day here. The most exciting part is the that I am 14 weeks today. I don't feel like much has changed since last week. I might be slightly bigger, but considering I don't measure there really no way to know if I am! I am still sick occasionly. But I know it could be a lot worse, so I count my blessings. I am so excited that next week I go back to the doctor. It won't be a big appointment just a normal check up, but I hear I get to hear the baby's heartbeat which is going to be great!!
The second and not so good part is that Travis left today. This isn't the big, going to Afghanistan leave yet, but he will be gone for 2 months and then will hopefully get to return home for a few days before he goes to the giant sand box. But it is still sad none the less. Like I told him, I know I will probably get to see him 1 more time, it still sucks! My dear friend Whitney drove all the way done here, and took lots and lots of pictures. Which I will post them later.
Please be praying for Travis and all the Marines as they are traveling and training in the next couple of months. And don't forget their families who are left at home!

oops
I forgot to post something last week! I will defend myself by saying that I was so excited about Travis coming home that it slipped my mind. Travis had been gone for almost 2 weeks doing pre-deployment work up stuff. And he came home this past Saturday. But this week has been the most exciting and it's only Wednesday morning! Since the deployment is coming up soon they gave him the week off! And my job was wonderful enough to give me the week of to, so we have been having so much fun. What is crazy is that in typing this I realize that we really haven't done a whole lot, but it has been fun.
Well since I didn't posted last week either, you missed the 12 week update! I went to the doctor last week and it went really well. Baby is growing right on schedule and has a fast little heart at 168 bpm. Although, I will say this little one is a stubborn very hard sleeper just like its daddy. I have always joked that Travis is the worldest hardest sleeper, the world would have to be crashing in on his head in order for him to wake up before he wanted to. Apparently so is my child, and I am crossing my fingers that it continues after it is born. But any way, we had an ultrasound done and they needed to see the baby's profile, but instead of being in the right postion it was laying towards my back so that all we could see is it's back. Well, she had me try everything!! Rolling from side to side, sitting up and laying back down repeatedly, getting up and pacing the room, even coughing and laughing on command! NOTHING!! This child did not want to move. He would squirm a little and then settle back in. But after 20 mins of trying peanut moved so we could see.
But now I am 13 weeks! It really does surprise me how fast time is going. I found out I was pregnant 2 months ago!! It's hard to believe, but super exciting to. I hoping, and believing, that since this is going so fast that it will keep it up and help this deployment to fly by! But back to baby. Week 11-12 (plus a few days) were very bad for morning sickness. Which surprised me because I was sure it was getting better and then BAM it was not so much fun. But it has been better the last few days, alot better! Maybe this really is the end?
So although I am not very sure when it begins and when it ends, but I think that I am officially in the 2nd trimester. Maybe? Who knows for sure, I don't want to get over excited because my luck I am wrong! And this week we are going to try and find out what the baby is! We are going to have a 3d/4d ultrasound done before Travis leaves so that he can try and see it as well! Although it will be very early and may not work very well, we are super excited to try and to see our little one again!
Well I am off to go have some fun, actually it is early so I will probably go see if I can bring the world crashing in on my husband and wake him up! Haha, wish me luck!

Week 11
Well as of today I am 11 weeks along. In the past week I have noticed a new change in me. What is that you ask? It would be my waist line. While no one else would notice, trust me its bigger. I have a couple of pairs of pants that fit perfectly before I got pregnant, and now they are just to snug and very uncomfortable. And the others that were slightly to big, especially when you were them all day and they stretch out fit pretty well now! All my shirts still fit, but I have dresses that don't! It is slightly sad, but very exciting. I look at it like I am fixing to get an entire new wardrobe!
Morning sickness is another story. It has been here for several weeks now, but it has gotten better. At some point during the day (almost everyday) I get queasy and then throw up. But that is it, it comes and goes quickly. I know some people who were sick all day everyday, I thank God that that isn't me. This is has been a pretty easy pregnancy so far, and I really hope it continues that way.
We go back to the doctor next week so I should have more to say then!

Our weekend
WOW! What a weekend. Last week Travis had to be at the reserve center everyday, and he was there for at least 12 hours a day. And on top of me working, we really only got to see each other for a couple of hours a day. So when we found out he had the weekend off we knew that we were going to have to spend lots of time doing some fun stuff. So he got off of work on Friday and Travis took me out to dinner. Now the experience was not very good, our server wasn't very good, but we had so much fun we laughed so much I was surprised I wasn't sore the next day. We rented a movie and came home.
Saturday when we woke up we had no plans! But figured we should do something to celebrate the no government shut down! I was getting kind of worried about what was going to happen if Travis got deployed and wasn't getting paid. But God took care of us all and now we don't have to worry about it! So we decided we wanted to go up to the mountains since it was such a nice day. We had fun driving with the windows down and looking at the beautiful flowers and trees that were blooming. It didn't take as long as we thought it would so we got home about 5. And decided that we were going to go register for the baby! It was so over whelming all the stuff that there is. So many choices, and when you don't have kids you don't know what you need and what you don't. Travis of course had fun, maybe to much, getting to use the scanner gun thing. So if you look at the registry and think why is this on there, or why do they need more than 1 of these just know that more than likely it was Travis getting a little happy with the gun. Of course it is really just the basic things that we need, because we don't know what we are having. So when we find out I will be adding alot more stuff!
On Sunday we, of course, went to church. It was another beautiful day, but we didn't really do much. I also had to work that night, but it wasn't for long, so I came home and helped Travis pack. Boo! He has left, just this morning, to do some training for his upcoming deployment. Which is coming alot sooner than I would like, but I am going with the thought that the sooner we get started the sooner he comes home, and that means the less he misses of our baby!
Well that is is for our weekend, I have some pictures that I want to get on the computer so I will post them here when I get that done!

10 weeks!
Well another week down, and 30 more to go! Wow, that sounds like a lot, but I guess I found out over a month ago and that time has flown by. Well anyway, I am so excited to be 10 weeks. In my mind it doesn't seem to be a big milestone, but it's still exciting. Since my last post at 8 weeks not a lot has changed. I am however excited, but timid, to say that I think the morning sickness is subsiding. With the exception of this morning I have been feeling much better! Morning sickness has been replaced by sleepiness, but as I told some one the other day: I like to sleep so that's ok with me!
My sister has begun to spoil me! I have received another present. Apparently she decided to send something once a month. And this month, was super cute soother and an absolutely adorable pacifier holder and tummy butter stuff that helps with stretch marks! Last month was 2 pregnancy/child books. I don't know what I would do with out her! She is the best!
Me and mom spend pretty much every weekend at consignment sales. We love shopping in the girl sections now that miss Abbie is here. They are just so cute. Travis and I are hoping to find out what the baby is next month, a little earlier than the doctor usually does it, but we are going to go have a 4d ultrasound done in hopes of seeing earlier! Keep your fingers crossed.

A trip to the doctor
Yesterday we had our first OB appointment. It went really well! Well, it was slow to start, but after that it was quick. Our appointment was at 10:30, but they didn't take us back till 11:35! Over an hour. I was becoming not so happy. But they finally took us back to the ultrasound room. We got to see and hear our little peanuts heartbeat! It is truly an amazing thing to see. A friend of mine said it perfectly.... I don't know how some women have abortions and I don't understand how people say there isn't a God. Because when you see such a miraculous thing you just know that GOD has blessed you with this child!
But anyway on to the rest of the story. That was the first thing she did, and she left it up there for us to watch as she checked some other stuff. So we got to watch the little one for some time. It was AWESOME! We even got to take home 4 or 5 pictures which of course now hangs on our fridge. She also measured the little one to see exactly how far along I was. And apparently I am not as far as they (and me) originally thought. We thought I was 8 week and 6 days, our little one is measuring 7 weeks and 5 days. Almost a week different, so they put my due date at November 2. Which I kind of think it would be fun if the baby came early (I know you moms out there are laughing at me) just a couple of days and it could be a Halloween baby! But only God knows when this one will appear, and I do have a little bit of time.
After we were done with the ultrasound we were moved to another room to talk to the Nurse Practioner were she asked a ton of questions. I don't think I have answered so many questions. Then she told us what to expect at each of our appointments and let me ask my questions! Which was very helpful. They also gave us a bag full of stuff to read and it even had coupons!! Which is awesome because there are so many rules to being pregnant that it is nice to have pretty much all the information right there in front of me!
Well as you can tell we had so much fun going to the doctor! And she said that they might do an ultrasound next time to!!

8 weeks!
So today I am officially 8 weeks pregnant. Hard to believe we found out almost 3 weeks ago! And what is even more exciting is we go to the doctor next week!!! For being 8 weeks I feel pretty good, well that is most of the time! I go through times were I don't even know I am pregnant, and then there are times when I can barely keep any food down! But I am loving being pregnant. I know that there aren't a lot of people who read my blog, but I think I am going to use this as a journal kind of thing. That way I will always have it.
Travis has been great. He has made sure I take care of myself and has been helping out around the house. His humor continues to get me. We are laying in bed the other day, it was right after we moved. I was complaining that I was sore and nauseous and Travis looks at me and says "me too. man this pregnant thing is hard". All I could do is laugh! Man I love him!
Well that is it for now!
Moving
Well actually we already moved! We move pretty fast! Since we found out I was pregnant we knew we were going to have to move to a 2 bedroom, and since Travis is leaving in a little while we knew we wanted to do it before he left so that he could help me as much as possible. Well I went to talk to the apartment office and practically begged them to let us brake our contract early and move by the end of April. Well obviously it worked!! After explaining our situation to them they took mercy on us and allowed it. So then the process started! We sat down with a leasing person and she asked a lot of questions about when we wanted to move and what exactly we wanted. We told her what our ideal place was and she said "well I have one just like that opening up next week. It can be yours, but you have to take it then. I can't hold it for you". So we jumped on it!!
So this past Friday I went to the office and signed the lease for the new place. And I started to moving what I could. Now me being pregnant was not a great way to move. I was so tired!!!! And of course Travis had to work from 8-4 both Friday and Saturday. So needless to say between my sleepiness and Travis working we took a lot longer than we normally would, but it is done and we are NEVER EVER moving again! Well at least not for along time!
Well maybe one day I will get around to taking pictures so you all can see, but I make no promises!

I just don't know,,,,,
how to share this with everyone. I mean some people just blurt it out and some people make you solve an easy riddle, some people give statistics. Which way to go, which way to go??!! I just can't decide. So I guess we will just go with the blurting it out..... I'M PREGNANT!!!!
Can you believe it!? We are just so beyond excited. I am still really really early, only 7 weeks. And we went back and forth trying to decided rather or not we wanted to tell people so early. But considering that Travis is leaving in a couple of months we wanted to get as much time with it out in the open, not having to keep it a secret! And also I know that this is a really super important time in the baby's development and I know that I can't do this with out prayers. Lots and lots of prayers, and support from our family and friends.
Wow! That was easier than I thought it was going to be! I hope you all are as excited as can be, because I know that we sure are!
Please be praying for our little bean and us as we move this weekend, and as Travis prepares to leave.

Happy Anniversary
Yesterday was our 3rd anniversary!! I was thinking about it and I can't decide if it seems longer, or if I can't believe it's only been 3 years. But either way we were so excited to celebrate it together! This is going to be one crazy year coming up but it we are going to get through it just fine!

......
I am slightly in shock, and definitely sad. Last night there was a staff meeting at Stir Fry and we found out that the owners have decided to close our location, and 1 other in 2 weeks. I have worked there for 5 1/2 years and I just can't imagine what I am going to do. I never believed I would work their for the rest of my life, believe me that was never my plan. But I never thought it would come to this, I always thought I would leave when I was ready. And I admit I have always been afraid to leave, I love this place. I work with great people and they have always treated me well. I have made some great friends and several of them have I have worked at since the beginning, I was 16!!!! And I don't know what I am going to do. So please please pray for me, and the rest of the employees, as I try to find a job, especially as Travis gets ready to deploy.

Practicing
So when training for a marathon a runner must work for a long time to build up to where they want to be. Well, I have begun training! Ok, ok not for a marathon... me running that's funny! But for deployment. I am spending the weekend alone, and I am using this to get into the habit of Travis being gone! There are so many things that I want to do that I just don't know where to begin. I mean there are chick flicks, shopping, good wine, good chocolate, decorating, oh man the list goes on and on!!! But of course there are the normal everyday things to, but those are to boring to list! So let's see tonight, I went to work and now I am posting this and then I have the food pantry and church tonight and then I am thinking American idol and then whatever other girl shows that I can find on TV that Travis' won't watch with me!! And I can't wait! Well all right that's really all I have for now, I was just excited and wanted to share!

Getting ready
I have been keeping busy lately. With what you ask? Getting ready for Travis' upcoming deployment. Well, kind of. I am a family readiness assistant for his unit and we have been busy trying to get things together and started for all the families. We are already starting to plan events and fun things to do while they are gone. I like this, I hate deployments, but volunteering gives me something to do to make me feel productive and to keep me occupied!
I have designed t-shirts and gotten cards made so that everyone can have the right information to contact me! I have also decided to try and start a program (i guess thats what you would call it) called I ran to Afghanistan. Actually, I didn't start it. One of Brandi's friends, Carolyn, started it back in 2008 when her husband was deployed to Afghanistan. But I recently contacted her and she said that I could start/continue it all the way over here in good old Tennessee! It is such a great way to stay healthy and be supportive in a fun way while the guys are gone. See now you are interested and want to know more don't you!!?? Well, I will tell you more so that you can sign up to help!
There are 40 something guys deploying with Delta Company. And what is going to happen is:Any spouse, parent, sibling, or friend can sign up to help us get to Afghanistan. That is walk the distance there. It is 7,268 miles from Knoxville to Kabul, Afghanistan and we plan to walk that many miles while they are gone. At the end of every month everyone who is participating will send in how many miles they walked in that month and we will add them up! See?
Well, as you can see I am super excited about the things that are going on. I am not, however, excited about what my house is looking like. Travis decided he need to get out all his Marine Corps stuff, and it looks like I re-decorated in camouflage! I hate this part of any drill weekend/deployment/AT. All his stuff stinks and it just doesn't match the red and orange of my living room! Oh well, guess there isn't much I can do about that now is there!?
I hope everyone is having a great week, it's almost the weekend so start getting excited!

Snow Snow Snow!
I just can't believe it. It has snowed again! If you have ever lived here you know that we don't usually get much snow. I mean occasionally we will get 1 maybe 2 good snows which allow schools to get be cancelled for the day. And by good I mean maybe an inch. I know for you northern people are like "an inch isn't that just a dusting" well here for that the entire town shuts down. Well, already since the beginning of December we have had 5 snows. Count them 5!!!! And this last one brought us around 3 inches! I recently said that I don't think that I have ever seen a season that brought snow this many times. I love it!!! Don't get me wrong it is freezing and I hate being cold, but it is pretty to look at! Pictures to come!
